Seal Wire The Seal Wire seals the film and also cuts it at the same time. The seal is thin and you can feel it. Can be used with all shrink films. One-Piece Insert The One-Piece Insert knife cuts and seals with the same edge. Can be used with all shrink films. Three-Piece Insert The Three-Piece Insert cuts with the center knife and seals with the two outside pieces. Very similar to the Wide-Fin. Can only be used with Cross-Linked films. Solid Bar The Solid-Bar cuts and seals with the same edge. Can be used with all shrink films. Reynolds Seal The Reynold’s Seal System utilizes several inserts for different types of films: PVC, Polyethylene, and Polyolefin. Wide Fin The Wide Fin seal bar contacts with the film across its face. The seal is formed by the heat and pressure of the bar. The cut is made by a thin cutter bar. The result is a seal that can be from 1/8” to 3/16” wide. This type of seal bar works only with shrink films that have been cross linked.
